Addiction Worker Supervisor
All addiction workers accredited by the Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (ACI) are required to participate in regular supervision with an accredited ACI Addiction Worker Supervisor. Supervision provides guidance, support, and opportunities for reflection, contributing both to the addiction worker’s professional competence and well-being, and to the delivery of ethical, high-quality care to the individuals they support.
To apply for accreditation as an Addiction Worker Supervisor, applicants must have a minimum of three years’ experience in an addiction worker role, have completed a recognised Supervisors’ training course, and meet ACI’s criteria for Addiction Worker Supervisor accreditation.

Please refer to the Addiction Worker Supervisor Membership Criteria to assist when applying. As part of your application you must also download the Supervisor Report, see below, and forward it to your Clinical Supervisor for completion.
