Why Choose ACI?
We are fully committed to maintaining high standards of ethical practice within the field of addiction support. By ensuring our members meet these standards we enforce their professional credibility, while also protecting those seeking help. If you share these values, we invite you to become a member where you'll join well over 500 other accredited addiction professionals who are raising standards and protecting public safety.
Accreditation Process
The committee meets four times a year to review applications, with applicants informed of these meeting dates in advance.
Each application is thoroughly examined to ensure it meets the required criteria for accreditation. If an application is unsuccessful, the individual is contacted and either given feedback or asked to provide additional documentation. The application will be reconsidered once the necessary information is submitted. Successful applicants are notified by email. After the membership fee is paid, an accreditation certificate and receipt will be sent via email.
