ACI Connect Celebrates National Recovery Month 💜
For November’s ACI Connect, we’re delighted to welcome Donal Clifford, a highly experienced psychotherapist and addiction counsellor specialising in sexual addiction, compulsive sexual behaviour, and psychosexual therapy.
📅 Monday, 17th November, 6:30 PM (approx. 1 hour)
📍 Zoom (link sent upon registration)
With an integrative and holistic approach, Donal supports clients to move beyond shame and uncover the roots of trauma.
In this session, he invites us into a relaxed and honest conversation about how we talk about and support one another around sexual behaviour issues. Whether this is part of your daily work or simply something you’d like to understand better, it’s a chance to listen, share, and build confidence together.

What is ACI Connect?
ACI Connect is a dedicated space for our members to build meaningful connections through community, open conversation, and mutual support. While it isn’t part of CPD, its value lies in offering time to step away from work or study, share experiences, and feel part of a community that truly understands. Open to all members, whether student associates or experienced supervisors, it provides a supportive environment where everyone belongs.
Session Format
In addition to a guest speaker or expert, each ACI Connect session is supported by Nicole Ryan and Susan Galvin Walsh, both experienced Addiction Counsellors and members of the ACI Board. They’ll help guide the conversation, creating space for open discussion.
ACI Connect offers members the chance to pause, reflect, and connect with peers - reinforcing that, even within the demands of professional life and studies, we are part of a supportive community.
